Memorandum of Understanding
Between the Thai Journalists Association and Club of Cambodian Journalists
Whereas the Club of Cambodian Journalists has led its Cambodian journalists to visit Thailand following the invitation of its Thai counterpart, the Thai Journalists Association between September 16 and 20; and
Whereas the Thai Journalists Association and the Club of Cambodian Journalists have agreed to develop collaboration that promotes media relations of the two countries.
The Thai Journalists Association and the Club of Cambodian Journalists have agreed to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding.
Details are as follows;
- The Thai Journalists Association and the Club of Cambodian Journalists agree to closely work together to help promote media relations of the two countries.
- The Thai Journalists Association and the Club of Cambodian Journalists agree to do their best to promote constructive coverage of their news media in their respective countries in order for the people of the two countries to have better understanding in terms of social, economical, political and cultural matters.
- The Thai Journalists Association and the Club of Cambodian Journalists agree to strengthen media relations of the two countries through regional and international activities.
- The Thai Journalists Association and the Club of Cambodian Journalists agree to carry out the Thai-Cambodian Media Exchange Programme every year in order to give chance to journalists of the two countries to exchange their ideas, opinions and experiences on current media situation in their own countries.
- The Thai Journalists Association and the Club of Cambodian Journalists agree to exchange information regarding media situation of each country every year by jointly conducting workshop or discussion on the media issues and other sectors for the benefit of the two people.
- The Thai Journalists Association and Club of Cambodian Journalists agree to help each other to train the Cambodian and Thai journalists to improve their professionalism.
- The Memorandum of Understanding will take effect shortly after we, the undersigned, have read and agreed with it. Further, we have reviewed the proposed project and approved it.

ด้วย สมาคมนักข่าวนักหนังสือพิมพ์แห่งประเทศไทย ได้จัดทำโครงการแลกเปลี่ยนความสัมพันธ์สื่อมวลชนไทย-กัมพูชาขึ้นเป็นปีแรก โดยในปีนี้สมาคมฯ เป็นเจ้าภาพเชิญสื่อมวลชนกัมพูชามาเยือนเพื่อกระชับความสัมพันธ์อันดีระหว่างสื่อมวลชนของทั้งสองประเทศอีกทั้งยังเป็นประโยชน์ต่อการส่งเสริมความเข้าใจอันดีระหว่างประชาชนของทั้งสองประเทศ ในปีนี้สื่อมวลชนจากกัมพูชา จำนวน 5 คน นำโดย Mr. Pen Samitthy, the president of the Club of Cambodian Journalists จะมาเยือนประเทศไทยระหว่างวันศุกร์ที่ 16 กันยายน-วันพุธที่ 20 กันยายน 2554 เป็นเวลา 5 วัน
ในการนี้ สมาคมนักข่าวนักหนังสือพิมพ์แห่งประเทศไทย จะจัดการสัมมนา "บทบาทสื่อมวลชนในการ
ส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ไทย-กัมพูชา" ขึ้นในวันจันทร์ที่ 19 กันยายน 2554 เวลา 10.30 -13.00 น. ณ ห้องอิศรา อมันตกุล สมาคมนักข่าวนักหนังสือพิมพ์แห่งประเทศไทย จึงเรียนมาเพื่อขอเชิญท่านให้เกียรติเข้าร่วมการสัมมนาตามวันและเวลาดังกล่าว และขอเชิญรับประทานอาหารกลางวันร่วมกัน
จึงเรียนมาเพื่อโปรดพิจารณา สมาคมนักข่าวนักหนังสือพิมพ์แห่งประเทศไทย หวังเป็นอย่างยิ่งว่าจะได้รับ ความเกียรติจากท่านในการเข้าร่วมสัมมนาครั้งนี้และขอขอบคุณมา ณ โอกาสนี้
