สมาคมนักข่าวนักหนังสือพิมพ์ฯ ส่งจดหมายแสดงความเสียใจสำนักข่าวรอยเตอร์และครอบครัวช่างภาพข่าวชาวญี่ปุ่น

นายชวรงค์ ลิมป์ปัทมปาณี อุปนายกฝ่ายต่างประเทศ สมาคมนักข่าวนักหนังสือพิมพ์แห่งประเทศไทย กล่าววันนี้ (11 เม.ย.) ว่า สมาคมนักข่าวนักหนังสือพิมพ์ฯ ได้ส่งจดหมายแสดงความเสียใจอย่างสุดซึ้งต่อการเสียชีวิตของนายฮิโรยูกิ มูราโมโต ช่างภาพข่าวโทรทัศน์ชาวญี่ปุ่น ของสำนักข่าวรอยเตอร์จากเหตุการณ์การปะทะกันระหว่างทหารและกลุ่มผู้ชุมนุม เมื่อช่วงเย็นวันที่ 10 เมษายนที่ผ่านมา ไปยังสำนักข่าวรอยเตอร์และครอบครัวของนายมูราโมโต พร้อมยืนยันว่า ทางสมาคมฯ จะช่วยติดตามตรวจสอบให้การสอบสวนถึงสาเหตุการเสียชีวิตของนายมูราโมโต เป็นไปอย่างยุติธรรมและโปร่งใสอีกด้วย

The Thai Journalists Association (TJA), an independent media organization, represents the journalists in Thailand, is deeply sadden to the loss of Hiroyuki Muramoto, a Japanese cameraman working for the Reuters news agency, who was shot death in Bangkok during armed clashes between government troops and “Red Shirt” protesters on April 10, 2010.

TJA also would like to convey our deepest sympathy to the Muramoto’s family and his colleagues at Reuters. We will help ensure that the independent investigation in to Muramoto’s death will be conducted in a transparent manner.
